Ironman Galway 2011
Our Galway City Centre Hotel is delighted that this September, Galway welcomes it's first ever ironman race to Salthill on Sunday 4th. The hugely popular style of racing will see Salthill and parts of the Connemara transformed into a high octane race track. The event begins with a 1.9K swim in the crystal-clear waters of Galway Bay before athletes take on a challenging 90K bike course to Maam Cross and back. The endurance race ends with a spectator-friendly run course through the Salthill area of Galway.
Our Galway City Hotel is offering City Centre accommodation to all athletes and spectators at excellent rates.
