The card details provided at the time of booking will guarantee the reservation. The Eyre Square Hotel reserves the right to check a card to ensure that it is valid and/or sufficient funds are available. Credit cards will be preauthorised and debit cards will be charged the equivalent of the first night stay – this is only in the event that you have not checked in by 5:00pm and the property have been unable to make contact with you by the details given at the time of booking. For reservations for 4+ rooms the property reserves the right to request a deposit, further terms & conditions may apply to groups. Full payment is taken upon Check-In. The Eyre Square Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise (credit cards) or charge (debit cards) prior to arrival. Should the card be declined, as per our cancellation policy, we also reserve the right to advise the Booker of this accordingly. Should a valid card not be provided within 2 hours of the initial charge attempt the property reserves the right to cancel the reservation, as per our cancellation policy.
Our standard cancellation policy is by 3pm, 48 hours prior to the date of Check-In. Cancellation requests made outside of this time may result in cancellation fees amounting to no more than the first nights stay or equivalent. Cancellations requests should be made directly to the Eyre Square Hotel via email or phone.
Please check the terms of all 3rd party reservations as they may differ from those directly booked with the Eyre Square Hotel. Our property abides by the terms and policies set by the 3rd party operator you have chosen to make your reservation, however, we cannot be held liable for any breeches of contract agreed upon by you the guest and a 3rd party agent.
In the event of a guest’s non-arrival (no-show) the firsts nights stay accommodation rate will be charged to the card use to guarantee the booking or be billed back to the company whom made the reservation on behalf of said no show guest.
Proof of Identity
The Eyre Square Hotel reserves the right to request proof of identity at any time including on Check-In. Lack of proof of identity could result in the loss of the reservation in question.
Contact tracing measures are currently in place and we endeavour to fulfil these measures in the interest of fellow guests and the Eyre Square Hotel Team Members. If we are not satisfied that the booking has been made in good faith, we reserve the right to refuse business.
The Eyre Square Hotel reserves the right to charge a Security Deposit upon Check-In. Please note that the property reserves the right to pre-authorise your credit card for the total cost of your stay upon arrival. No cash payments will be accepted. Guests will be required to provide a valid photographic ID to verify the booking has been made in good faith. Failure to provide these could result in the loss of the reservation in question.
Check-In is from 3pm on the day of arrival – it is advised for guests who plan to arrive after 6pm to contact the property directly via email or phone to inform the Front Office Team.
Check-Out is by 12 Noon on the day of departure unless an agreement has been made with the properties management in advance – late check-outs will incur an additional charge on departure up to the amount of one full nights rate.
Children under the age of 12 stay free of charge when sharing with adults.
Cots are available but not guaranteed, it is advised to make a request for one once you have made your reservation.
Children from 12-17 are charged at adults’ rates. Children from 12-17 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian on Check-In and must remain supervised while on the property. Children from 12-17 can only stay alone on the property under limited circumstances and can only be allowed if it has been confirmed by the Hotel Manager no later than 1 week prior to arrival. Contact for such circumstances should be made directly to the Eyre Square Hotel via email or phone by the child’s parent/guardian. Failure to do so could result in loss of the reservation in question.
Any special requests or instructions related to your reservation are likely to be addressed on the day of your arrival. If you have any urgent/pressing requests, please contact The Eyre Square Hotel directly via email or phone. This includes special dietary needs, medical requirements, and the storage of medicines.
We Operate a 100% No Smoking Policy as per the Public Health (Tobacco) Acts 2002-2015.
Should any guests report smoking within the property or if any evidence of smoking within the property is detected in any of our rooms or other facilities an investigation into the matter will be conducted. If confirmation of smoking is found as a result of this investigation an automatic charge of €200.00 will be added to your account as an additional cleaning charge.
Illicit substances will not be tolerated under any circumstances and the Gardí will be notified if it suspected by a member of the Eyre Square Hotel Team that breeches of the law are taking place.
Noise levels should be at an acceptable level as judged by the Eyre Square Hotel’s other guests and Hotels Management. If Hotel Management receives a noise complaint, we will only give one warning to quieten down. Receiving a second complaint will result in the room(s) being asked to leave the property and no refund will be given.
Loud noise, loud music, horseplay (in Hotel rooms or other facilities), running in the corridors, playing in the elevators, high traffic in/out rooms, and loitering are not permitted and can result in immediate eviction with no recourse to refunds. Refunds in these cases include accommodation bills as well as food and beverage charges.
Eyre Square Hotel is constantly reviewing its policies and procedures and reserves the right to update these as and when deemed necessary. This includes the availability of any supplies, features, information, or other content at any time and without notice.
