Getting Here

The Eyre Square Hotel is one of the most accessible hotels in Galway. We are located on Forster Street, directly beside Galway’s Ceannt Station — the city’s main train and bus terminal. Whether you are arriving by Bus Éireann, Citylink, GoBus, or Irish Rail, the hotel is just a one-minute walk from the station exit.

By car: Galway is approximately 2 hours from Dublin via the M6 motorway. From Shannon Airport, the drive takes around 1 hour 15 minutes. We do not have on-site parking, but our recommended car park partner is Q-Park Eyre Square, a five-minute walk from the hotel. By air: Shannon Airport (SNN) is the nearest international airport, approximately 90 minutes by bus. Dublin Airport (DUB) connects to Galway via frequent Citylink and GoBus services (journey time approximately 3 hours). Ireland West Airport Knock (NOC) is about 1.5 hours by car.

Our reception team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whether you need help with luggage storage, local recommendations, tour bookings, or transport information, we are always here to help.

Check-in time is from 3:00 PM. Check-out time is 12:00 noon. If you are arriving early, we are happy to store your luggage securely while you explore Galway. Late check-out may be available on request — please enquire at reception.
