Our room was clean and comfortable with a good shower. Food was good and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful (esp Jack in the bar who was so pleasant to deal with but the rest of the staff were also brilliant). Food was good and the location is perfect (Bus and train station is right next door and when you leave the hotel you're straight onto Eyre Square).
It's not 5 star nor does it pretend to be but Eyre Square Hotel is terrific value for the prices charged with a high standard of service and cleanliness in particular relating to precautions against Covid 19.
The hotel does not have parking but there is a multi storey car park right behind where we parked at 2.30pm on Tuesday and left the car until 11am on Friday for just €30.
Great value all round and we would be very happy to stay there again. read less

It is within walking distance of so many things. Tour guides, bus stop, train, tons of shopping, restaurants and of course pubs! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also have a restaurant down stairs with good eats. I rented a car from a place about a minutes walk away to venture out of the city during the day and while they don't have parking, there is a parking garage near by that they validate for cheaper parking. I plan on visiting in the future and this is going to be my go to place! This place was like a home away from home for me! read less
